Coverage and financial support

Support Path® offers the Co-pay Savings Program to help eligible commercially insured patients who need financial assistance for their out-of-pocket medication costs. For more information, please call 1-855-7-MYPATH (1-855-769-7284).

No, the Co-pay Savings Program is available for eligible commercially insured patients only. The Co-pay Savings Program is not valid for prescriptions that are eligible to be reimbursed by:

  • Medicare or a Medicare Part D plan, Medicaid, TRICARE, VA, DOD, Puerto Rico Government Health Insurance Plan, or any other state or federally funded healthcare benefit program (collectively, “Government Programs”); or
  • by commercial plans or other health or pharmacy benefit programs that reimburse for the entire cost of prescription drugs or prohibit the use of the Co-pay Savings Program

They can visit their plan website or call the health plan if they want more information or need help. The plan’s phone number is on the back of your patient’s membership card.

Medicare

Visit medicare.gov/prescription-payment-plan, or call 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (except for some federal holidays).

State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP)

The Support Path Patient Assistance Program provides support to eligible uninsured patients who meet the program’s eligibility criteria. If your patient has been prescribed a Gilead or Asegua medication and they are uninsured, they may apply to the Support Path Patient Assistance Program.

Hepatitis Delta (Hep Delta) Nurse Educator Program*

Once enrolled, a Nurse Educator will:

  • Work with your patient or their pharmacy to understand when the first shipment will arrive
  • Schedule the administration training once their medication has arrived
  • Follow up to ensure your patient remains comfortable preparing and injecting their medication after administration training has occurred

Additional training sessions are available, should your patient need them.

Once your patient is enrolled, Nurse Educators will provide them with:

  • In-person or virtual medication administration training
  • Follow-up calls to check in on how their injections are going
*Nurse Educators cannot provide medical advice or in-office medication administration training.
